| APPLES | Fresh available thru Dec. from storage. Harvest quantity and quality off due to tough growing conditions. Wholesale availability is tight since most growers have retail options. It was hard to follow proper cultural practices during the late season due to excessively wet weather, so expect some less than perfect apples this year. |
| ARUGULA | Harvesting a light quantity of good quality product. Available until frost. |
| BABY SPINACH & ARUGULA | Harvesting good quality product in light to fair quantity. Finishing up soon due
to frost. |
| BEETS | Harvesting good quality product in fair volume. Tops will be hurt by frost first. Available thru Thanksgiving. |
| BROCCOLI,
BR. SPROUTS, CAULIFLOWER |
Although not available wholesale, these Fall products are available thru direct marketers until a hard freeze. Broccoli is a bit less hardy and available for a few more weeks. Harvesting good quality and light to fair quantity. |
| CABBAGE,
KALE, & COLLARDS |
Harvesting good quality product in fair volume. Likes cooler weather and can all tolerate some frost. Available thru Thanksgiving. |
| CILANTRO | Harvesting a light volume of good quality product. Can tolerate a bit more frost than arugula. |
| CRANBERRIES | Harvest volume off very slightly from last year due to extreme weather growing conditions. |
| DANDELIONS | Good quality Italian & San Pasquale varieties harvesting in fair volume. |
| DILL | Harvesting good quality in very light to decreasing quantity. |
| ESCAROLE & ENDIVE | Harvesting good quality products in light to decreasing volume. More supply would normally be expected for the Fall harvest season but adverse growing conditions have resulted in less quantity than usual. Available until frost. |
| LEEKS | A fair volume of good quality harvesting. |
| LETTUCES | The more delicate leaf lettuces are finishing up. Light supplies of Romaine which is a bit hardier. |
| MINT | Very light supplies of good quality product. Starting to finish up due to cool growing conditions which it doesn’t prefer. |
| PARSLEY | Harvesting a light volume of good quality product due to harsh growing conditions. Available until frost. |
| RADISHES & TURNIPS | Harvesting in light volume. |
| SPINACH | A light volume of good quality product is available as a small flush of late supply is still harvesting. More supply would normally be expected for the Fall harvest but adverse growing conditions have resulted in much less quantity than usual and later harvesting. Can take some frost; available for a few more weeks. |
| SQUASH | Tough growing conditions caused much less supply than normal to be available. Butternut & Acorn have been harvested, cured, and stored for sale. |
| SWEET POTATOES | Harvesting good quality in fair supply. |
| SWISS CHARD | Harvesting good quality product in light to fair volume. |
| WHITE POTATOES | We’ve harvested mainly round white varieties, with some Yukon Gold, Redskin varieties, and a bit of Russets as well. |
